I created Genius Hub – Palpate, a gesture-controlled software app that allows physically challenged individuals to operate devices through simple hand movements, making technology more accessible and inclusive. I presented this project at MoonBattle Season 2 , where I gained valuable feedback and hands-on experience. I also developed NutrOmeter, a camera-based device that provides instant nutritional information about food items to promote healthier eating habits, which I showcased at the MoonBattle Conference . Both projects strengthened my skills in user-centric design and demonstrated how innovation can create meaningful real-world impact.

About the Program

A real-world, quarterly initiative where students launch and market their innovative products by drafting their pitch, driving awareness for their project on social media, and much more. Generates STEM awareness among other kids. This helps develop marketing skills, business communication, and real-world business idea pitching experience.

My Experience

I created Genius Hub – Palpate to help people control devices without physical touch. Through gesture-recognition software and Arduino integration, I built a simple yet powerful tool for volume control, file navigation, and more—an experience that taught me how empathy and engineering work together to improve accessibility. About the Program

The MoonBattle spotlights STEM, robotics, and entrepreneurship through workshops, competitions, and hands-on learning, empowering students and parents to embrace innovation, leadership, and real-world problem-solving. Improves entrepreneurial thinking, public speaking, and product development skills.

My Experience

During MoonBattle Season 2, I refined my concept for Palpate from scratch under Moonpreneur’s guidance. I dove into gesture-recognition software, learned to integrate camera input with Arduino programming, and designed a flexible user interface that allows users to customize commands. Thanks to the program's expert mentorship and pitch training, I presented Palpate at the MoonBattle Conference 2024 in Silicon Valley—qualifying as a finalist and showcasing the real-world impact of accessible tech. This journey taught me how empathy, engineering, and communication come together to build tech that truly makes a difference.

I led a hands-on, in-person STEM workshop at my school, guiding over 60 enthusiastic young learners through foundational concepts in gesture-based technology and programming. I also demonstrated how gesture-controlled software can help people with disabilities, inspiring participants to think inclusively about technology.

About the Program

Moonpreneur’s STEM Ambassador program empowers students to host and facilitate local STEM workshops. These events are designed to build leadership, mentorship, and community engagement skills by teaching coding and engineering to peers.

My Experience

As a STEM Ambassador, I organized and presented a session on camera-based gesture recognition using Arduino, introducing participants to sensor integration and custom gesture-to-action logic. Initially, I felt nervous leading the group, but with my mentor’s support, I gained confidence, explaining coding concepts clearly and seeing the kids' faces light up with understanding. This experience strengthened my communication skills, teaching ability, and community leadership, proving how teaching can reinforce my own learning and passion for innovation.
