I created the Number Guessing Machine using a Micro:bit—a simple game that makes guessing numbers fun and educational. I explored coding patterns and learned how even a basic device can make learning interactive. Although I faced a small issue with the accelerometer, the project was exciting, and I can’t wait to improve it once I receive my kit.

About the Program

A real-world, quarterly initiative where students launch and market their innovative products by drafting their pitch, drive awareness for their project on social media, and much more. Generates STEM awareness among other kids. This helps develop marketing skills, business communication, and real-world business idea pitching experience.

My Experience

I created the Number Guessing Machine using a Micro:bit—a fun and simple game that makes guessing numbers interactive and educational. Inspired by classic guessing games, I wanted to add a tech twist using sensors and code. I explored MakeCode’s block-based coding and experimented with JavaScript and Python to bring the idea to life.

Although I encountered a minor issue with the accelerometer causing unexpected number displays, the experience taught me how logic, sensors, and code work together. Even before receiving my kit, I mapped out improvements and learned how a small idea can become a real, working project with creativity and curiosity.
