Being Updated
Huntington Middle School in Huntington, West Virginia, is starting to build a new $43 million building. This is a big step forward for the city's schools. Quinn Evans Architects designed the new school, which will have modern learning spaces like student learning studios and labs, as well as open areas for collaboration. The school will focus on STEAM education. This project is in the Southeast Community Resource Area of the city. It will also have a public library, a community center, and sports facilities.
The school's administration and staff are excited about the new development. They stress how important it is to give students access to the best facilities to help them grow academically and personally. The building work should be done by 2026, and the school should open in the 2026–2027 school year.
