North Belton Middle sixth-grader Kimberly Lezama won first place at both the local and district levels of the Lions Club International Peace Poster contest in February 2026. Her watercolor and graphite artwork, titled “Together as One,” advanced to the Texas state competition. The achievement brought the school recognition in a visual arts competition.
