Vale Middle will have its annual Fiesta parade in late April. Students will make floats, and people from the school and the community will perform at the event. The parade is a tradition on campus that gets students and the community involved.
Q1. What makes Vale Middle in San Antonio different from other schools?
Ans. Vale Middle has a rotating schedule, which means that the length of classes changes from day to day and subjects get different amounts of teaching time depending on the daily cycle.
Q2. What system does Vale Middle use to keep track of who is in class and when?
Ans. Vale Middle keeps track of attendance every period and updates records in real time. This lets staff mark absences that haven't been verified and start follow-up on the same day.
Q3. What kinds of activities are there at Vale Middle?
Ans. Vale Middle has academic team challenges where groups of students work together to answer timed questions, compare their answers, and then review the answers together.
Q4. What does Vale Middle do to help students who have trouble learning certain things?
Ans. Vale Middle offers intervention sessions in which small groups of students review concepts they have not fully grasped, engage in targeted exercises, and demonstrate their understanding before returning to regular lessons.
Q5. How do families at Vale Middle find out about academic timelines?
Ans. Vale Middle School gives parents access to campus calendars through parent portals. These calendars show grading periods, testing windows, and planned school events all in one place.
