Irons Middle School students are preparing to host the annual Irons Invitational Music Festival on May 8–9, where band, orchestra and choir groups from across the region are invited to perform and receive feedback from judges. Ensembles will present two to three pieces each, with the opportunity to compete for “Best in Class” honors in their respective categories. The event is part of a long-standing tradition that brings together middle and high school music programs for two days of performances. School organizers say the festival supports music education and offers students a chance to showcase their work.
