By the end of 2025, Mclean Middle School had shown off a design that was 75% finished for a $73.7 million project to bring all of its campuses together. The plan calls for more than 116,000 square feet of new construction, including a major building addition, a new cafeteria, a competition gym, and improved spaces for fine arts and career and technical education. In 2026, construction is set to begin. The new campus is expected to open in August 2028 and be able to hold up to 1,200 students.
