Dallas Environmental Science Academy recently celebrated student success with its 2025–2026 Spelling Bee, awarding top honors to winner Jocelynn Rojas, and maintained a top-tier statewide ranking of #43 among Texas middle schools.
Q1. What special field trips do students at the Dallas Environmental Science Academy take?
Ans. Students go to urban farms, wetlands, and environmental research centers in their area to get hands-on experience with ecology and scientific data.
Q2. What does the Dallas Environmental Science Academy do with its outdoor campus space?
Ans. The campus is an outdoor classroom with gardens and other places to study biology and collect environmental data.
Q3. What does the Dallas Environmental Science Academy's science fair focus on?
Ans. The 2026 science fair will be about finding long-term solutions for cities and protecting the environment in Dallas and the surrounding area.
Q4. Are there any student-led conservation clubs at the Dallas Environmental Science Academy?
Ans. Yes, the "Green Team" club, which is run by students, runs recycling programs and encourages all students to be more aware of the environment on campus.
