Reiffton School students see STEM come alive Fifth grade students baked treats in the fifth grade wing on March 26, 2026, utilizing their STEM knowledge and learning real-world skills. The lesson was about using measurement in practice and working through structured processes. The activity is part of the school’s commitment to engage students through interactive and experiential learning experiences.

Ans. The Reiffton School is an intermediate school that helps students make the transition from elementary classrooms to middle school expectations.
Q2. What does this transition look like on a day-to-day basis?
Ans. Students start to change classes, have different teachers, and have more structured schedules than before.

Ans. Teachers work on routines, organization and independence, with lots of check-ins and support for adjusting to new expectations.

Ans. Students can participate in clubs, arts activities, enrichment programs and school events appropriate for intermediate grades.

Ans. This structure also supports students who need some time to adjust before they get into the full middle school.
