Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is a lively city in the Lehigh Valley with a lot of history and cultural attractions. Bethlehem has about 75,000 people and a lot of middle school students can choose from a number of schools. There are 27 middle schools in the city, including Moravian Academy, a private school that is known as one of the best in Pennsylvania. The Bethlehem Area School District puts a lot of emphasis on academics, diversity, and extracurricular activities. Many of its schools offer programs like International Baccalaureate and Career Technical Education. Some schools, like Bethlehem Catholic High School, are known for having great academics. Bethlehem is a great place for families looking for a well rounded middle school experience because it has a strong sense of community and values education.
