Jane Goodall Environmental Middle School students and staff held a moving memorial tree-planting ceremony in late 2025, dedicating an Oregon white oak to honor the legacy of their namesake and her global conservation mission.

Ans. The curriculum emphasizes field research, local environmental initiatives, and direct mentorship with professional scientists and conservationists.

Ans. Yes, field studies that happen outside of school are a normal part of the school day. This lets students learn directly from the ecosystems and nature around them.

Ans. Students do research projects together, go on trips to learn, and sometimes have virtual meetings with expert staff from partner organizations.
