Community Math and Science Prep in New York has students moving through regular math and science classes during the week, with teachers explaining topics in class and helping students when they get stuck. Some lessons include practice work and short in-class activities to reinforce what’s being taught. Alongside this, students also join a few clubs and group-based activities when they are available. Day to day, the school runs in a steady way with normal classroom learning and students staying involved in both lessons and simple school activities.
