The best media center in the state is being built by I.S. 254 (TEAM 254) for $3.5 million. Its goal is to make it easier for students to use technology and learn online. This new building will help teachers teach in a more modern way and give students more chances to use digital tools and resources. The school also has science labs and a black box theatre where students can learn by doing. This lets them learn about both STEM and creative subjects.
