Being Updated
The new programs at Toms River Intermediate School South are making a big difference! The school's leadership team started the "Seminoles in Service" project to get students to help their community. Students are also having fun at different events, like an assembly called "Laughing Together" that encouraged teamwork and positivity. The school's "Seminole Pantry" also helps students and families in need by giving them important things they need.
Q1. What does Toms River Intermediate School South do to make school fun?"
Ans. Students are encouraged to be creative when they learn about new things by doing projects, taking part in lessons, and working with others. These activities also help them get better at thinking critically and solving problems.
Q2. What kinds of classes does the school offer that are creative?
Ans. Classes in music, theater, visual arts, and creative writing give students a safe place to improve their skills, express themselves, and grow as artists.
Q3. How do you help students stay healthy?
Ans. Counseling services, wellness workshops, and mindfulness activities help students deal with stress, get stronger, and stay emotionally healthy all year long.
Q4. What kinds of leadership positions are available to students?
Ans. Student councils, mentorship programs, and group projects help students become more confident, responsible, and good at working together and talking to each other.
Q5. How does the school get the community and families involved?
Ans. Family workshops, volunteer programs, and school events help schools and communities get to know each other better and get parents and students to talk to each other in meaningful ways.
