Being Updated
Everyone at Ligon Middle School is very excited! Thanks to the PTA and parent volunteers, the school recently had a fun Hot Cocoa & Cookie Bar for staff to celebrate the holidays. The Ligon Food Ark program also helped students in need during Thanksgiving, showing how much the school cares about the community. The school is also going through a big renovation project that will cost $140 million. The goal is to make the learning spaces more modern and safer.
Q1. How does Ligon Middle School get students interested in learning?
Ans. Hands-on lessons, group projects, and activities that encourage students to ask questions all help students think critically, be creative, and get involved.
Q2. What programs at Ligon help people be creative?
Ans. Programs in music, visual arts, theater, and creative writing give people chances to express themselves and improve their creative skills.
Q3. How do you help students stay healthy?
Ans. Counseling services, wellness workshops, and mindfulness programs help students stay emotionally stable and strong.
Q4. How do you learn to be a leader?
Ans. Student councils, group projects, and mentorship programs help students become more confident, work together, and take charge.
Q5. How does Ligon Middle School include families and the community?
Ans. Family workshops, volunteer projects, and community events are all great ways to get people involved and make connections outside of school.
