Leesville Road Middle is a public middle school in Raleigh, NC. It is in a big city and serves students in grades 6–8. The school has about 809 students and 45 full-time equivalent teachers and three full-time school counselors. This means that there is one teacher for every 18 students. Leesville Road Middle School offers a full curriculum that includes core classes in math, English language arts, science, and social studies. It also offers elective and enrichment programs in the arts, technology, and physical education. Data from the state and the country show that 67% of students are good at math and 63% are good at reading. This means that they are doing better in school than most other students in the state. There are 46% female and 54% male students, so the student body is diverse. Also, 33% of the students come from families with low incomes, which shows that they come from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. The amount of money given to each student is about the same as what most Wake County public schools get. It helps pay for student services and teaching programs.

The students at Leesville Road Middle School are very excited! The principal's message made it clear that the school was focused on growth, learning, and achievement as students returned to school. There will be a Schoolwide Spelling Bee, a fundraiser, and a DJ Party in the near future. These events will show off the school's lively community. The PTSA is also actively helping students and staff in many ways, such as the LION Locker program, which gives students in need important things.
