The Duke Bull City Scholars program, a student-run weekly tutoring program, has helped Neal Middle School improve from a F to a D rating. The program's main goal is to help students do better in school, especially in math and reading. Volunteers have used creative ways to get students involved, such as using hip hop to teach writing and literature. This partnership shows how being involved in the community can help students do better in school. The school is also getting ready for the End-of-Year Testing and the 8th Grade EOY Formal, which are both coming up soon.
