Carmel Middle School is a public school in Charlotte, North Carolina, for grades 6–8. There are about 1,050 students who go there. There are 17 students for every teacher at the school. This lets them give each student their own learning opportunities and focused lessons. Carmel Middle School teaches all the subjects, including math, English language arts, science, and social studies. It also has art, technology, and physical education enrichment programs to help students grow in all areas. Because the students come from so many different backgrounds, the classroom is more friendly and cooperative. Recent data on proficiency shows that 54% of students were proficient or better in reading and 57% were proficient or better in math. This shows that the school is trying to help kids get better at basic school skills by giving them extra help and enrichment programs. Carmel Middle School has a structured and supportive learning environment because of district resources, technology in the classroom, and active family involvement. The school is a great place for middle school students to start because it focuses on helping students learn, supporting them, and always getting better. It is one of the top schools in North Carolina.
