Charlotte is the biggest city in the state of North Carolina. There are almost 900,000 people who live there, and it is in the southern Piedmont area. People know it for its strong economy, diverse culture, and neighborhoods that are good for families. Most of the areas elementary school students go to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), which is one of the biggest districts in the Southeast. There are also a number of private, charter, and magnet schools. The school system puts a lot of stress on extracurricular activities, doing well in school, having a diverse student body, learning STEM subjects, and combining the arts with other subjects. The National Blue Ribbon and other state and national awards have been given to a number of elementary schools in the area. There are a lot of schools to choose from in Charlotte, and there are also a lot of community resources. The quality of life is also very high.
