Desoto Central Middle School is a public middle school in Southaven, Mississippi, for students in grades 6 through 8. The school has about 1,400 students and a student-teacher ratio of about 18:1, which helps with structured classroom instruction. The DeSoto Central Middle School dance team was recognized by the DeSoto County School Board for winning a state championship. The team received official certificates in January 2025 for their accomplishment, celebrating excellence in extracurricular achievement and representing the school with distinction.
