Olive Branch Middle School is a public middle school in the DeSoto County School District for students in grades 6–8. The school has about 710 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 15:1, which means that students always get help with their lessons. The students come from a wide range of backgrounds, which is a result of Olive Branch's growth as a suburb and the mix of people who live there. The main subjects at Olive Branch Middle School are math, English language arts, science, and social studies. There are also electives and activities for students to do. According to USA News, about 57% of students are good at math and 43% are good at reading. This shows that students are doing well in school but could do better in reading.
