The Historic Cherry Hill Elementary/Middle School is full of energy! The school recently got more than 400 books for kids in grades Kto8. This was made possible by a generous gift from the Associated Black Charities, the Youth Resiliency Institute, the Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore, and Councilwoman Phylicia Porter's office. The goal of this program is to close the gaps in education and create a reading culture at school. The school's administration and librarian thanked the community for their support and stressed how important reading and literacy resources are.
