The campus of Paul Breaux Middle School is getting a whole new look! Plans to combine Paul Breaux Middle School, J.W. Faulk Elementary, and Dr. Raphael Baranco Elementary into a single, state-of-the-art K-8 school have been approved by the Lafayette Parish School Board. The goal is to have the new school open in time for the 2027–28 school year, so construction should start soon. Tia Trahan is the new principal of Paul Breaux Middle School is the Overall Principal of the Year. She has more than 20 years of experience and is known for her creative leadership.
