Woodlawn Middle School is full of excitement! The school recently celebrated its academic successes and the variety of its educational programs by showing off some impressive work at the East Baton Rouge School Board Committee of the Whole meeting. Students have done very well in many areas. For example, a sixth-grader won a championship in color photography at the National Beta State Convention, and the school's sports teams won district and parish championships. For the second year in a row, Woodlawn Middle was named a Magnet School of Excellence.
