K D Waldo Middle School is in the news because of its great accomplishments! The school recently won the International Great Reading Tournament, which means that it had the highest average number of minutes read in English around the world. The Board of Education recognized this amazing achievement and praised the students and teachers who helped make it happen. Waldo Middle School also had a successful Career Day, where more than 40 professionals talked to students about their jobs.

Ans. To get kids to think critically and be creative, lessons include hands-on activities, group discussions, and group projects.

Ans. Art, music, theater, and writing classes help students learn how to express themselves and improve their artistic skills.

Ans. Students can keep their emotional and physical balance by taking part in wellness programs, counseling services, and mindfulness activities.
Q4. What kinds of leadership opportunities are there?
Ans. Peer mentoring, student councils, and group projects help kids learn how to work together, build confidence, and solve problems in real life.
Q5. How does the school get families and the community involved?
Ans. Parent workshops, school events, and community service projects help people get to know each other better and get involved.
