Prairie Point is on Kirkwood Boulevard SW in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in the southern part of the city. The school is for grades 6 and 7. There are about 890 students enrolled. The student–teacher ratio is 15:1. 67% of people are good at math. 75% of people can read well. There are equal numbers of males and females. The school is well-organized and welcoming, with rules and routines that encourage good behavior and academic success. Students do better when they have set schedules and guided lessons. Parents like the school's organized way of teaching and say that they can always count on updates.
