Being Updated
At Blackmon Road Middle School, everyone is very excited! The school has built a brand-new weight room that gives students a great place to improve their athletic skills. The school is trying to teach students good sportsmanship and honesty by giving them competitive and educational experiences that push them to do their best. This new addition is part of that effort. The school is also getting ready for the Georgia Milestones tests by having March Madness Milestones Mania, which helps students by giving them review sessions and tutoring.
Q1. How does Blackmon Road Middle School make learning fun?
Ans. Projects that require students to work together, hands-on activities, and problem-solving exercises all help students be creative, think critically, and stay interested in what they're learning.
Q2. What kinds of creative things can students do?
Ans. Music, theater, visual arts, and writing programs are all great ways to express yourself and improve your skills.
Q3. How do you put student health first?
Ans. Counseling, wellness workshops, and mindfulness programs help people deal with stress and keep their mental health in good shape.
Q4. What kinds of leadership opportunities are there?
Ans. Student councils, peer mentoring, and group projects help students become more confident, work well with others, and be responsible.
Q5. How does the school get families and the community involved?
Ans. Workshops, family events, and volunteer projects encourage people to get involved and make the community stronger.
