Baker Middle School is buzzing with excitement! The Lady Lions basketball team recently beat Eddy and East Columbus, which showed off their Big Baker Energy. Also, Coach Burch and Mrs. T. Morris both got their Ed.S. degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Georgia, which was a big goal for them. The school is also getting ready for a good time with events like Decade Day and Tacky Day.
Q1. What does Baker Middle School do to make students curious about schoolwork?
Ans. Students are encouraged to think critically and learn more about topics through project-based learning, inquiry-driven lessons, and interactive activities.
Q2. What programs help people be creative?
Ans. Students can improve their ability to express themselves and be creative by taking part in music, visual arts, theater, and writing programs.
Q3. What helps with social-emotional growth?
Ans. Students can learn how to deal with their feelings and build resilience through counseling, peer mentoring, and wellness programs.
Q4. Do students have chances to be leaders?
Ans. Student councils, group projects, and team activities are all good ways to build confidence and responsibility.
Q5. How does Baker get in touch with the community?
Ans. Volunteer programs, family events, and working with local groups all help people get involved in their communities and make real connections.
