In March 2026, Miami-Dade County Public Schools opened a new, cutting-edge Innovation Space at Norland Middle School. The new area has an interactive floor, furniture that makes it easier for students to work together, and technology that helps them learn about engineering and circuit design. In the new space, students will be able to do more hands-on STEM activities.
