Roton Middle School was commended by the district in 2025 for achieving the highest student-centered growth scores among Norwalk middle schools. Roton Middle School music students were selected for the 2026 Regional Performance Honors, representing the school in the state-wide orchestra. Roton Middle School launched a "Future Educators" program in 2026 to mentor students interested in pursuing careers in education.
