The Coast Fusion Robotics Invitational, a big competition with student robotics teams, took place at Kunst (Tommie) Junior High on January 24, 2026. The school's robotics team qualified for the VEX IQ World Championship in Dallas for the first time in campus history in 2025. They finished in the top 100 teams in the world. The milestones show that the school has taken part in robotics competitions at both the regional and international levels.
