Black Mountain Middle School celebrated its tenth consecutive year of national recognition as an AVID National Demonstration School for its campus-wide academic excellence. The school also earned eligibility for the U.S. News Best Middle Schools award badge, reflecting its high ranking in educational quality.
Q 1. What safety rules are in place right now at Black Mountain Middle School for people who come to the school?
Ans. To keep the place safe, all visitors must check in at the front office with a valid government ID.
Q2. How often do parents get official progress reports from Black Mountain Middle School during the term?
Ans. Families can keep up with their child's academic progress by getting progress reports through the digital portal on a regular basis.
Q3. Does Black Mountain Middle School have a summer bridge program for kids who are moving from local elementary schools?
Ans. The school usually has orientation events in late summer to help new Raiders get used to the bigger campus.
Q4. What is the current student-to-teacher ratio for core academic subjects at Black Mountain Middle School?
Ans. The school has about 24 students for every teacher to make sure that each student gets the right amount of instruction and help in the classroom.
Q5. Can Black Mountain Middle School students play on competitive sports teams in the winter?
Ans. After school, students can take part in a number of intramural and district-sponsored sports programs that encourage teamwork and physical fitness.
