On February 12, 2026, students from Grace Hopper STEM Academy went to Loyola Marymount University to celebrate the Year of the Horse Lunar New Year. There were cultural demonstrations and planned games on the university campus as part of the event. Through planned activities, the visit gave students a chance to learn about the cultural traditions that go along with the Lunar New Year.
