Woodland Junior High School is located at 1275 West Maple Street in the Woodland Heights neighborhood of Fayetteville, Arkansas. The school has about 713 students in grades 7 and 8. A student-teacher ratio of approximately 13:1 supports classroom learning, allowing for more individualized academic attention. Recent state assessment data indicates roughly 66% of students meet math proficiency and about 61% meet reading proficiency. The student body is approximately 51% male and 49% female. Woodland???????????????? has a friendly campus environment where students are motivated to grow their self-confidence, be active in their learning process, and acquire the necessary skills for the future high school coursework and requirements. The majority of the houses in the surrounding areas are priced between $270,000 and $460,000, and these are mainly mature residential communities that offer a comfortable lifestyle with easy access to parks, schools, and local amenities. Families speak highly of the school’s positive atmosphere and the way the staff members energize and support the students while they are getting more academically challenged. As a result of continuous work on establishing basic skills and fostering student development, Woodland Junior High School is on its way to becoming the top middle school in the state of ????????????????Arkansas.

Woodland Junior High School is currently under construction on a new $99.65 million campus. As of December 2025, work is progressing on the three-story, 160,000-square-foot facility. The new building will feature sustainable cross-laminated timber as part of its design.
