The John Dewey Academy of Learning has moved into its new, modern building on Cherry Street. It has open, collaborative areas that are great for project-based learning in 2026. The school just got a grant to build a state-of-the-art "Maker Space" where students can use 3D printers and laser cutters to work on their own research projects. This semester, the academy is also hosting a series of community exhibitions where students can show off their research that crosses disciplines to experts in the area.
