Central Valley High School is making progress on its new school building project. The school has released a conceptual design for a $95 million high school in Spokane Valley. The school is also working on getting people involved in the community. For example, they recently held a "CV Family Game Night" where students, parents, and staff all got together. Also, the advanced ceramics class at SUNY Orange is showing off sculptures that are based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Q1. What do teachers do to get students to participate outside of class?
Ans. The school has sports, clubs, and arts programs that help students find their interests and learn how to be leaders.
Q2. Does the school encourage students to be creative?
Ans. Yes, arts and elective classes help students be creative and come up with new ideas.
Q3. Does Central Valley High School offer chances to explore careers?
Ans. Students can take part in vocational programs to get ready for jobs in the future.
Q4. Do students get help getting ready for standardized tests?
Ans. Yes, of course! They offer SAT and ACT tests and help students get ready for college.
Q5. What kinds of help are there for students?
Ans. Counseling, tutoring, and mentoring services help students reach their academic and personal goals.
