Winooski High School is still celebrating the success of its campus revitalization. Efficiency Vermont recently gave it the 2025 "Best of the Best" award for innovative and sustainable construction. The district is also getting ready for the second annual Winooski Career Café on March 26, 2026. This is a community networking event that helps students connect with local businesses and a wide range of career paths. The school also recently celebrated the fact that Winooski High School teacher Caitlin MacLeod-Bluver was named the 2025 Vermont Teacher of the Year.
Q1. Are students able to look into STEM options?
Ans. Yes, for sure! There are science, technology, engineering, and math programs that let students learn through practical activities.
Q2. Are there programs that help kids stay fit?
Ans. Of course! Winooski High School helps students' mental, emotional, and social health by giving them counseling and wellness programs.
Q3. Do students have lockers?
Ans. Yes, students are given lockers in the hallways at the start of the school year.
Q4. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, Winooski High School lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q5. Does Winooski High School encourage people to get involved in their community?
Ans. Yes, students can help out with community programs and volunteer projects to learn about civic duty.
