Landstown High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is a public high school that is part of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools district. It serves students in grades 9 through 12. There are about 1,800 students at the school, and the student-to-teacher ratio is about 16:1. This helps keep students interested in their studies. There are 12 high schools in the district. Landstown High School is one of the leading schools.About 40% of the students at the school take Advanced Placement classes and tests. The school has a well-rounded academic program. Students can choose from career-focused pathways, college-preparatory courses, and a lot of extracurricular activities that help them reach their goals after high school. For the 2025–2026 school year, data on students' grades show that 88% of them are good at math and 91% of them are good at reading. The school also makes sure that students take the SAT and ACT.There are a lot of different kinds of students at Landstown High School. About 66% of students are minorities, and about 39% of students are from low-income families. The amount of money each student gets is about the same as the average for the district.
