It is one of six high schools in the Salt Lake City School District and is known as one of the best because of its strong academic and extracurricular traditions. The school has a full Advanced Placement curriculum, and 39% of students take part in it. The student-to-teacher ratio is about 23:1, and it is one of the best High School in "Utah" . The student body is made up of people from many different cultures, with 65% of students being minorities and 55% of students being economically disadvantaged. East High School is still updating its historic campus. For example, all of the math and science classrooms now have new interactive technology that makes it easier to analyze data in real time. The school recently got a grant to grow its "Leopards for Life" program, which gives students access to a wide range of health resources and chances to serve their community. The athletic department has also opened a new multi-sport turf field, which gives the school's soccer, football, and lacrosse teams a place to play that is as good as a professional field.

Ans. East High has a college-preparatory curriculum and gives students chances to learn through practical activities and improve their skills.

Ans. Students can have more fun at school if they play sports, do arts and crafts, join clubs, or do things that get them involved in the community.
