The Secondary DAEP in Victoria help students to learn behaviour and makes them behave better. The program still focuses on structured learning, counseling, and academic progress, which helps students get back to their home campuses and stay on track to graduate.

Q1. What does a day at Secondary DAEP look like?

Ans. The program has a set schedule with set class times, supervised activities, and clear rules for behavior.

Q2. Can students take part in activities outside of class while they are enrolled?

Ans. Participation is usually limited during placement because the main goals are to improve behavior and academics.

Q3. How do you grade students while they're in the program?

Ans. To see if students are ready to move on, their academic progress, attendance, and behavior are all taken into account.

Q4. Does the program encourage parents to get involved?

Ans. Yes, parents are encouraged to stay involved by going to meetings and talking to staff.

Q5. What happens to a student after they finish the DAEP program?

Ans. Once students meet the required academic and behavioral goals, they usually go back to their home campus.
