The marching band from McKinney North High School made history by making it to the finals of the 2024 UIL 5A State Marching Band Championship at the Alamodome. Marzano High Reliability Schools has also given the campus Level 3 Certification. This puts it in a small group of schools that are known for having student-centered environments and strong instructional leadership. Also, faculty and staff recently gave several seniors Distinguished Student Awards for their excellent academic work and contributions to the campus community that were not for their own benefit.
