Gateway High School is still making real progress as part of a district-wide effort that saw most of the secondary schools raise their overall state performance ratings for the 2025–2026 school year. The school is still focused on creating a supportive environment. Recently, it benefited from the district's "Capturing Kids' Hearts" program, which encourages students and staff to build strong, positive relationships. Students can also actively access the district's Future Ready Expo, which gives them personalized tools to help them with college applications and career certifications.
