Wheatley High School is currently expanding its vocational offerings by partnering with the Barbara Jordan Career Center to offer students access to sixteen high-demand career programs. Individual student accomplishments are also getting better and better. For example, a senior in the Class of 2026 recently won a big $112,000 scholarship for academic excellence. These changes come at the same time as a renewed focus on campus leadership and more extracurricular activities, such as participating in regional track and field competitions.
