Fred Moore H S still has a one-of-a-kind, small-scale learning environment that helps students learn better because there are so many teachers to students. The school is currently focusing on new foundation grants that fund innovative teaching projects. One such project is "Sensing and Sense-ability in Science," which gives students high-tech scientific sensors to use in hands-on experiments.
