Recently, Veterans Memorial Early College High School was put on the 2025 Texas Honor Roll. This list honors the 19 campuses in the district that always do well with their students. The school is currently holding special events like "Coffee with the Superintendent" and "Fiesta Folklórica" performances to get the community more involved and celebrate the area's culture. The school is now taking applications for its Summer School program in 2026. This program will give students one-of-a-kind chances to get ahead in school and improve their grades outside of the regular school year.
