Lopez Early College High School is currently celebrating Blue Ribbon Week in April 2026 to raise awareness in the community and keep students safe. Recently, Ms. Maricela Zárate Puente was named Principal of the school. She will help the school continue to grow academically. Students are also getting ready for the upcoming AP exam cycle, thanks to special review sessions and programs that help them get ready for college.

Ans. The district's online portal lets students see their grades and attendance.
Q2. Are there chances to be a leader at Lopez Early College H S?
Ans. Yes, student council and team-based activities help students learn how to be leaders.
Q3. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, Lopez Early College H S lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q4. Does Lopez Early College H S encourage new ideas?
Ans. Yes, project-based learning lets students think critically and come up with creative ways to solve problems.
Q5. Are there chances for peer mentoring?
Ans. Of course, yes! Older kids can teach younger kids how to be leaders, work together, and help each other.
