Huron, a lively town, has a population of about 14,000 people. It is known for its diverse population and long history of being friendly to visitors. The city has a central public high school and private religious schools. Huron schools work hard to make everyone feel welcome. They have a lot of support for English Language Learners (ELL) and a lot of vocational programs. The district is known for being able to bring together students from different cultural backgrounds, and its diversity programs have won awards.
