Richland Northeast High School's Convergence Media program, which recently won several state-level awards for excellence in journalism and broadcasting, sets the school apart. The school is also adding new interdisciplinary projects to its International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. These projects will connect global issues with local community service. The Cavalier athletics department also recently celebrated the signing of National Letters of Intent by several student-athletes who will compete at the college level starting in the fall of 2026.
