It is one of nine high schools in Richland School District One and serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school has between 700 and 800 students, and there is one teacher for every 15 students. This means that teachers can help students with their problems and give them focused academic instruction. Eau Claire High is one of the best schools because it has programs that prepare students for college and is committed to helping them grow. It offers Advanced Placement® courses, and 16% of students take them. Students also take tests like the SAT and ACT to see if they are ready for college and to do well after high school. 11% of students are good at math, and 38% are good at reading and writing. There are a lot of different kinds of students at the school. 98% of them are minorities and 100% of them are economically disadvantaged. The amount of money spent on each student is in line with district standards and helps with teaching and student services.

Eau Claire High School is actively improving its career and technical education programs so that students can get real-world experience in fields that are in demand in the area. The school recently held events to honor students' achievements and has been working with the rest of the district to make campus facilities and technology more accessible. With these changes, all students will have the tools they need to follow their interests and reach their long-term career goals.
