The Providence Public School District's $1 billion plan to update all of its buildings is good for A-Venture Academy. The plan's main goals are to improve important infrastructure and put energy-efficient lights in classrooms. The school's core subjects, like English Language Arts and Math, now have new, high-quality teaching materials. Teachers have also had special training for their jobs. Also, students are getting clearer paths to success after high school by better aligning with the district's transition goals and focusing on individual leadership skills and a wide range of career and technical education options.
